Forjado Powder Coated Metal Planter

The Forjado is a stunningly simple, lightweight, metal planter perfectly suited to modern and contemporary settings. Each is handmade from raw galvanised sheet, lock-jointed together for additional strength. With or without locking castors the Forjado is supplied either full depth for planting or with a shallow tray for faux foliage.

The planters are available in a powder coated finish and can be supplied with feet to raise the planter off the ground or locking castors to make them easy to move round.

Manufactured entirely in-house, we can work with you offering bespoke sized planters to fit seamlessly on your terrace area.

The planters can be supplied in over 200 RAL finishes and can also be branded in a variety of ways (stencilled, etched, printed) or complemented by the addition of branded café barriers.

Other available options include artificial foliage.

Specifications

Size : Our planters are manufactured to a tolerance of +/-5mm. The over-all height will include any chosen castors

Weight : Variable. Minimum weight is 25 kgs

Preparation for planting : Forjado planters are supplied with drainage holes as standard, but for best results we recommend a layer of lightweight expanded aggregate (clay balls) below the soil to improve drainage

Metal planters conduct cold and heat very effectively and in extreme conditions this can lead to the plant roots overheating or freezing. To combat this we supply an Insulation and Membrane Kit, comprising pre-cut sheets of 25mm insulation board for each planter, along with 2 pre-cut sheets of separation membrane

Shallow Tray (For Faux Foliage) : Standard depth 120mm. Please advise if different depth is required

Composition : 1mm thick galvanised steel sheet. All fasteners are stainless steel

Branding : Planters can be digitally printed, stencilled or have vinyl applied. Call for further information

Castors/Leg : Planters are supplied as standard without wheels or feet and sit directly on the ground. We would recommend you place the planter on blocks for improved drainage. Heavy duty industrial specification castors are available as an option for planter portability. Or for more static planters there is the option of planter feet which are 30mm in height

Realistic looking artificial flowers and greenery has become the popular choice for filling planters. With no maintenance expense artificial plants cost less over time with the bonus of arriving fully grown. No patience or feeding is required with no risk of damage thorough over watering or frost. Brandline offers 6 standard arrangements, but bespoke options are available. Call our sales office for information and prices. Prices depend on the coverage and the arrangement you choose. Keep in mind plants arranged down the centre of a planter can look as delightful as a full edge to edge arrangement and cost considerably less.
